Size
Grows to 15cm.
Habitat
Yabbies inhabit the fresh waters west of the Great Dividing Range, including most of Vic., N.S.W., Qld. and S.A., and into N.T. They are found in large numbers in flowing and still fresh waters, including swamps, lagoons, dams, lakes and creeks. They have a preference for waters with high oxygen levels and ample vegetation.

Good freshwater fish bait.
