Nashy’s Compleat Angler
Formally Northside Fishing Centre the business was purchased by Bruce and Lesley Nash in 1987 from his father Joe. Over the next 21 years the business has provided local anglers with the latest tackle, freshest bait and up to date information. The store has gained the reputation for carrying items outside of mainstream tackle and the staff pride themselves in helping anglers with hard to get products. As well as fishing tackle the store also offers a range of boating accessories and spear fishing equipment. The 40’ banana in the car park may be the butt of numerous jokes, but is a local landmark and makes the store easy to find.
Since joining the compleat angler group in 2004 the store has undergone numerous changes. Renamed Nashy’s compleat angler, the store now boasts a small but dedicated staff with a mix of youth and enthusiasm to complement Bruce’s maturity and experience
